A touch of glamour at Gillman Speedway in aid of charity - December 2014
December 30, 2014 by Gillman Media
There will be a touch of glamour at Gillman Speedway on Saturday night with Miss Oaklands Park Galaxy, Colleen Boyle, presenting the trophies to the placegetters in the Matt Jones Motorcycles / CBS Bins Australian Solo Championship round.
While the trophy presentation is an integral part of recognising the riders’ achievements, Miss Boyle will also be there for a greater purpose – to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
Colleen is no stranger to speedway. She is the daughter of former Solo rider Danny Boyle, who rode in the 1970s and won the South Australian Under 21 Championship at Renmark before going on to race for a short time in England.
If you see Colleen on Saturday night please make a donation to this worthy cause.
