Benefit meeting at Gillman Speedway on 25 April - April 2014
April 10, 2014 by Gillman Media
Speedway fans will have another chance to see some action at Adelaide’s Gillman Speedway this season, with an additional meeting added for this month to raise funds for injured Sidecar passenger Philippa Burns.
The Kiwi passenger was very badly injured in the qualifying meeting for the Australian Championship at Kurri Kurri in New South Wales on 29 March, and the benefit meeting for her has appropriately, given the Aussie-Kiwi link, been scheduled for Anzac Night, Friday, 25 April.
More details of the format and riders will be posted on the Gillman Speedway website after nominations have closed on Sunday, 20 April, but admission prices have been set at Adults $20, Concession $15, and all children aged 15 and under free.
