Brian Silvy and Glen Zaworski win season pointscore

Brian Silvy and Glen Zaworski have won the 2024/25 Gillman Speedway Sidecar Pointscore Series which was run over six selected meetings during the past season.
The pointscore meetings were the Spring meeting on 5 October, then meetings 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Points were awarded on the basis of 10 for starting the meeting, 3-2-1-0 on the heats, and 4-3-2-1 on the finals, and Silvy and Zaworski were narrow winners with 99 points, just ahead of Max Howse/Riley Commons on 93 and Justin Plaisted/Damian Egan and Brian Anthony on 91.
Silvy and Zaworski will receive their pointscore bonus winnings at the annual Speedway Riders Association of SA Presentation Night in the Bob White VIP area at the Gillman Stadium on Saturday 3 May. The function starts at 4.30 pm, with the presentations at 5.30 pm and dinner at 6.00 pm. Admission is $15 for SRA members and $20 for non-members.
