Fricke, Woodward and Proctor join Gillman line-up - August 2016
Three more of Australia’s leading riders, Max Fricke, Cameron Woodward and Tyron Proctor, have joined Jason Doyle as confirmed signings for the 2017 Australian Team Fund Raising meeting at Gillman Speedway on 29 October.
20-year-old Fricke, from Mansfield in Victoria, is one of Australia’s hottest prospects for future honours. Already a three-time Australian Under 21 Speedway Champion, Fricke has been a high scorer for league teams in England, Denmark, Sweden and Poland this year and his international form made him an automatic selection for the Australian World Cup team.
Woodward and Proctor are both established riders, multiple Victorian Champions and have been successful at Gillman in the past. Woodward is a four-time Victorian Champion and has won the South Australian Championship at Gillman, while Proctor is a three-time Victorian Champion and also a three-time winner of the Jack Young Cup at Gillman.
