K Trans Australian Sidecar Championship Riders Named - March 2013

Motorcycling Australia has announced the names of the riders who will contest this season’s K Trans Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship at Gillman Speedway in Adelaide on 30 & 31 March (Easter).

Eight riders have been seeded to the Final, effectively the first and second placed home state riders in the Queensland, New South Wales, Victorian and South Australian Championships. The seeded riders are (in alphabetical order):
Seeded riders (in alphabetical order): Grant Bond / Glenn Cox (NSW), Jason Bradshaw / Steve Behsmann (Vic), Scott Christopher / Tyler Moon (Qld), Brodie Cohan / Josh Sinnott (Qld), Mick Headland / Paul Waters (SA), Warren Monson / Matt Morgan (Vic), Mark Plaisted / Sam Gilbert (SA), Darrin Treloar / Simon Cohrs (NSW).

They will be joined by a further eight riders who will come from a Qualifying meeting to be held on Saturday 30 March. The field for the Qualifying meeting, again in alphabetical order, is:
Dylan Blain / Robert Gottardi (Qld), Hayden Bond / Brady Cox (NSW), Chris Dess / Kyle Laverty (NT), Mark Drew / Steven Blair (WA), Byren Gates / Michael O’Loughlin (Vic), Malcolm German / Stephen Stagg (Vic), Neale Hancock / Lachlan Greenhalgh (Vic), Jason Hardy / Geoff Langdon (SA), Trent Headland / Jesse Headland (SA), James Hinton / Jack Summerling (NSW), Wes Jenkins / Damian Egan (Qld), Mark Mitchell / Tom Golding (SA), Russell Mitchell / Don Morris (WA), Ron Parker / Shane Rudloff (SA), Justin Plaisted / Sam Harrison (SA – Subject to Appeal), Rick Stephens / Darcy Risstrom (NSW).
