SRA and Gillman Speedway achievements recognised by Motorcycling SA - December 2014

The effort that has gone into building and promoting Gillman Speedway was acknowledged on Saturday night when the Speedway Riders Association of SA was named the Club of the Year for 2014 at the Motorcycling SA Night of Champions annual awards night at the AAMI Stadium Function Complex.

In a big night for Speedway, Mark Plaisted and Brian Anthony also got an award for being the 2013/14 FIM Oceania Sidecar Champions, Shane Parker won the Motorcycling SA People’s Choice Award, and Speedway legends Jack Young and John Boulger were two of the three (scrambles champion Murray Williams was the other one) inaugural inductees to the Motorcycling SA Hall of Fame.
