Victorian Champion has his sights on the Gillman Speedway Championship - November 2013

Current Victorian champion, Justin Sedgmen, is one of the first riders to nominate for the Gillman Solo Championship to be held on 23 November.

Sedgmen has always ridden well on the Gillman track and is a former winner of the Jack Young Cup, but has yet to win the track championship. He reached the final of last year’s event but finished fourth behind Shane Parker, Robert Branford and Max Fricke, who are all expected to ride again this season. Fricke and Branford were the star riders at the opening meeting, finishing first and second in the final.

The championship meeting may include a Division two championship, depending on the nominations received, and will include a full field of Sidecar support races.
