Win The Ride Of Your Life at Gillman Speedway on Saturday night - October 2014

One lucky spectator will win a unique prize at Gillman Speedway on Saturday night.

One of the souvenir programmes will be marked and the person holding that program will win “THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE” on the back of one of the beautifully restored Jon Heaviside Vincent “V” Twin Sidecars.

Not only that, the rider will be 8 times Australian Sidecar Champion Darrin Treloar.

Programmes are sold at the stadium entrance and the souvenir shop, and the winner will be announced over the public address system early in the night.

Last season, Malcolm Pearson was the lucky spectator holding the specially stamped programme which entitled him to ride passenger on the ex-Neil Munro 1000cc Vincent Sidecar, ridden by former Australian Champion Ken Walker. The pair came out after event 12, and each time they went past the western terracing where Malcolm had been sitting, everyone, but particularly his mates, gave him a big cheer. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience which was just part of a good night’s entertainment for the large crowd.
