Monson and Summerhayes back up with Oceania Championship win - April 2017

After a wet and windy day in Adelaide, the race is on tonight for the Littlehampton Bricks FIM Oceania Speedway Sidecar Championship at Gillman speedway.
The Championship is decided on overall points over two rounds, and going into tonight’s deciding round Kiwi Andrew Buchanan, with Aussie passenger Denny Cox, leads the point score by two points ahead of defending champions Darrin Treloar/Blake Cox, with last night’s World Cup winners Warren Monson/Andrew Summerhayes and Grant Bond/Glenn Cox a further point behind.
Officials and track staff have arrived at the track and everything is ready for the meeting which starts at 7.30pm.
Gates open at 5pm. Admission prices are Adults $25, Age Pension and Student Concession $20, Children Under 16 $5 (aged 12-15 inclusive), Children Under 12 free. Family $55. Parking free. Programme $5. Grandstand $5.
This will be the farewell appearance of the British, American and New Zealand riders in Australia this season.
