FIM Oceania Speedway Sidecar Championship at Gillman postponed
March 15, 2020 by Gillman Media
Gillman Speedway has reluctantly had to postpone the 2020 Oceania Speedway Sidecar Championship which was due to run on 21 March.
The club was unable to get a meeting permit as the Australian Government has banned all gatherings of more than 500 people. Anybody who breaches this rule would face state enforcement.
FIM Oceania and Motorcycling Australia, in consultation with the Speedway Riders Association of SA, are working together on rescheduling the event to a date in the second half of the year.
Further information will be provided within the coming months.
In the meantime no decision has been made on the Gillman Speedway meeting scheduled for 4 April.
